Float & Set
This is the traditional method of plastering which was more commonly used before plasterboard was available. In this application an undercoat plaster is applied to around 9-12mm thickness directly to the substrate and then ruled off flat using a darby before being given a key known as devil floating and then whilst the undercoat plaster is still green, 2 coats of finishing plaster are applied and finished ready for decoration.

Re-Skimming
This is the application of two coats of finishing plaster ready for decoration, usually with British Gypsum multi finish plaster. This can be applied over existing walls and ceilings once they have been suitably primed or directly on to plasterboard.

Polished Plaster
Polished plaster was originally used in Italy and Europe and gives a very high gloss, marble looking surface finish. Its bespoke nature means many different colours, textures and finishes can be achieved to create a really high end luxury finish to any room or wall.
Tadelakt
Originating from Morocco this waterproof lime plaster is becoming more and more popular with designers and clients who are looking for a seamless alternative to tiles. The finish gives a real luxurious feel to any wet area including showers, wet rooms, bathrooms, steam rooms and saunas. with hundreds of colours available its no surprise its popularity continues to grow.

Microcement
An extremely strong durable finish well suited to floors, counter tops, shower areas and even kitchen splashbacks. Similar in appearance to Tadelakt but the lime is replaced with cement providing a more durable finish.
